678 kg Doda sawdust recovered from Dumper in Chittorgarh, Narcotics Havildar injured

The Central Narcotics Bureau has taken major steps against drug smugglers near Ghosundi in Kota Fourlane in the ChittorGarh district. More than six quintal opium was seized, hidden in a dumper under the floor (creating a secret room). In this case, the driver hit a vehicle with drugs and ran away from the dumper. A narcotics constable was injured in this. Narcotics seized the Doda Sawdust and Dumper and began looking for the accused. Kota (Rajasthan) ‘s Deputy Narcotics Commissioner Naresh Bundle said CBN received information that a Tata Dumper with the Gujarat registration number carried a large amount of illegal posts from the Kanera Ghat area to marwar. Based on this intelligence information, (CBN) formed a team of ChittorGarh cell officials and sent it. The team identified the vehicle by watching the suspected route closely. Subsequently, an attempt was made to stop the Tata Dumper near Bassi Village on the Kota-ChittorGarh highway, but the driver did not stop the dumper. When he saw the Narcotics team, he increased the velocity of the dumper and tried to hit the government vehicle and the preventable party. He said CBN officials chased the dumper and stopped it near Ghosundi-Vorp on the Kota-ChittorGarh highway. The Dumper driver jumped from the dumper and ran away. A constable was injured during this operation. The Narcotics team searched the dumper. A total of 38 plastic bags of illegal poppy weighing 678,750 kg are hidden in a well made in the dumper. After completing legal formalities, anesthetics also seized a Tata Dumper along with the illegal Doda sawdust. A case was registered under the provisions of the NDPS Act, 1985 and further investigation into the case is underway. He said the Central Narcotics Bureau (CBN) will continue to take strict action against smuggling illegal drugs. This will help to combat illegal drug trafficking in the state.
