Beijing: At the end of 2027 a massive application of 5g is realized

Beijing, April 11 (IANS). Beijing Nagar Economic, Information Technology Bureau and Beijing Municipal Communications Administration recently released the ‘Beijing 5G-large-scale application’ Sail ‘Action Upgrade Plan (2025-2027). According to the plan, by the end of the year 2027, Beijing will fully realize the large -scale application of 5g, increase the application level of 5G empowerment in thousands of industries and become a leading domestic 5G application measure. By the end of 2027, the access rate of 5G individual users in Beijing will reach 100%, the 5G traffic ratio of networks is more than 75%and the 5G application rate of businesses specified in the industrial area will reach 45%. The 5G integrated application operating system in the city gradually improves and the supply capacity of the chip module is still increasing. Beijing’s 5G network performance will increase significantly and the number of 5G base stations (including 5G-A base stations) per 10,000 people will reach 70 per 10,000 persons. According to an official of the Bureau of Economic and Information Technology, Beijing will build or renew more than 35,000 base stations with 5G-A capabilities, by the end of the Bureau of Economic and Information Technology, which will provide 5G-A network coverage in the entire region within the fifth Ring Road and 5G network coverage in large landscapes and areas. The constant coverage of 5G-A light base stations will be achieved in cities and a total of 2,000 5g virtual private networks will be created.
