Sri Lanka-China Cultural Photography Exhibition Deepened Friendship between the two countries
Beijing, June 8 (IANS). The five-day 2025 Sri Lanka-China-Cultural Photography Exhibition began at the Sri Lankan Prime Minister’s office on June 6. The purpose of this exhibition is to further deepen friendship between the two countries and to promote exchange and mutual learning between civilizations. Pradeep Saputhanthari, the permanent secretary of the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, said during the inauguration ceremony that friendship between Sri Lanka and China has been going on for many years and that it has now become even more alive under the structure of the belt and road initiative. He hoped that this photography exhibition would create new opportunities for artistic exchange and collaboration between the two countries and contributed to the development of bilateral relations. At the same time, Sri Lanka-based Chinese embassy adviser Chuwu Lilly said that this exhibition is not only a platform for art execution, but also favorable for increasing mutual understanding between the people of the two countries and also to promote cultural integration and exchange between the people.
