Immunosuppraitis .. the recovery journey can be over 3 years

In a recent study, published in Neurology magazine on Wednesday, it showed that the auto -immune thinking phalitis recovery could take more than three years, emphasizing the challenges that patients face, even after treatment. Self -immune encephalitis is a rare condition caused by an immune attack on the brain, often affects young people and starts with symptoms such as headaches, fatigue and fever. With the development of the disease, more severe symptoms that include memory loss, behavioral changes, hallucinations, cramps and even loss of consciousness. Immunotity can be misdiagnosed as psychological disorders such as schizophrenia or bipolar disorder, which increases the problems of early treatment. Ovarian tumors and encephalitis caused by the herpes virus are considered among the known causes of this disease, although most cases are still a clear cause, and the use of immunotherapy, which helps most patients restore their independence within two years. Immune encephalitis performed 92 patients in the Netherlands at an average age of 29 years, where medical records were revised and neurological and psychological investigations were conducted. The results show a rapid improvement in thinking and memory functions during the first six months, with a sustained improvement at a slower rate to 3 years. After 3 years, 34% of participants suffer from cognitive problems, and 65% recorded less than the average in areas such as memory and language. Participants constantly reported their suffering from problems in social function, emotional health, energy levels and quality of life. While 30% of patients were unable to return or study, while 18% of their adjustments needed to resume their activities. The study provides a more realistic perception of patients, their families and doctors on the recovery journey, which helps to better manage healing expectations. The results indicated the importance of cognitive and social rehabilitation as part of the treatment plan, which helps patients restore their functions in society more effectively. Causes of immune -thinking phalitis The encephalitis is caused by viral or bacterial enemy, or due to the attack by the immune cells of the brain, according to “Mayo Clinic”. More specifically, self -immune encephalitis occurs when immune cells accidentally attack the brain, or produce antibodies aimed at protein and receptors in the brain, and “researchers have not yet understood the exact cause of this.” Self -immune encephalitis can sometimes occur due to benign or cancerous crops, known as the syndromes associated with the tumor in the nervous system, and other types of self -immune encephalitis, such as anthisritis and scattered brain (breath), may occur as a result of an infection in the body. This condition is called the next self -inflammation of the infection, and in many cases the catalyst for the immune response is not known, and brain inflammation can sometimes lead to death.
