Sagar Parikrama Mission: Women -Matrosis crossed 'Cape of Good Hope'

New -Delhi, April 18 (IANS). Indian Navy Liepenant Commander Dilna K, and Lieutenant Commander Rupa A crossed the highly dangerous seabed. This sea area with strong winds and high dangerous waves is called ‘Cape of Good Hope’. The female officer riding on the boat of the fleet returns to India after completing the mission of Vishwa Sagar Parikrama. As he returned from South Africa to India, this female crew successfully crossed the prestigious Cape of Good Hope. The Indian Navy says it was another important milestone in this journey of Navy officials. According to the Navy, it was a major challenge to sail in the challenging waterways of the Southern Ocean. This challenge has been fulfilled. As he crossed the seabed, the crew crossed the three main cap of Good Hope, Cape Lewin and Cape Horn. After crossing these complex waterways, the crew now returns to India, inspired by determination and courage. This remarkable achievement shows the extraordinary sailor skills and teamwork of the crew. It also establishes a new criteria for Indian sail and inspires the nation. The Navy says that the visit of this female crew is proof of India’s growing presence in global maritime exploration and adventure. The Zechar Parikrama campaign of these female officers of the Indian Navy is in its last stages. Lieutenant commander Dilna and Lieutenant Commander Roopa A will complete the journey of a very complicated sagar parikrama of about 40 thousand kilometers and will reach India in May. Both left for India from Cape Town, South Africa this week. He met Indian High Commissioner Prabhat Kumar, Western Cape Vice President Regan Alan, former international cricketer Jonty Rhodes, Golden Globe Race 2022–23 winner and famous Single Sea traveler Kirsten New Sefer in Cape Town. During this time, these female sailors who came out on the World Sea Parikrama were encouraged. This sea building of Ocean Parikrama is known for its strong wind, high waves and unexpected weather. Here, different conditions of different regions also take strict tests of experienced sailors. There are many areas where maritles become a major challenge for sailors.
