Matrimony.com's net profit fell by 30 percent in the fourth quarter, the revenue also dropped

Mumbai, May 16 (IANS). The online metrimonial service provider company Matrimony.com released the results of the Four Fy 25 on Friday. In the period in January March, both the revenue and profits of the company dropped. In filing the stock exchange, the company said the consolidated net profit of Matrimony.com fell 30.26 percent to Rs 8.18 crore, which was Rs 11.73 in the same quarter of the previous financial year. In the March quarter, the company’s revenue from operations fell 9.15 percent year -on -year to Rs 108.32 crore. In the fourth quarter of FY 25, the billing income of the company was Rs 114.8 crore, which is 5.3 percent less than the fourth quarter of FY 24. The tax for the fourth quarter was Rs 10.19 crore for the first profit (PBT), which is 33.61 percent less than Rs 15,35 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year. In addition, during the January March period, Ebitda reduced 27.64 percent to Rs 12.3 crore, which was in the fourth quarter of FY 24. The Ebitda margin also dropped to 10.8 percent, which was 14.2 percent in FY 24. In the fourth quarter of FY 25 on the segment, the company’s revenue of the match of the match dropped. At the same time, the income from marriage services and others fell by 12.49 percent to Rs 1.33 crore. The number of paid subscribers of the company was 2.5 lakhs in the March 10 FY, which is 9 percent less than the same period of the previous financial year. The board of directors has announced an equity dividend of Rs 5 per share for equity shareholders. After the results, Matrimony.com’s share at Rs 509.90 closed with a 0.53 percent profit on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
