Landslide in Sikkim, two Bengal workers, died due to burden, rescue work continues!

Sikkim News Desk !!! Two laborers of the Jalpaiguri district in Western Bengals allegedly died in a landslide in the friend of the neighboring Sikkim. He died during the construction of an air wall in the Peling. Sources in the Jalpaiguri District Administration said that 11 laborers from the district go to the bucket for that construction work, two of whom died and three others were injured. One of the two dead workers and three injured was identified. The names of the deceased are Robbie Roy, 32, and Reformam Oraon (42). The injured was identified as Prashant Rai. All of them were residents of Baropatia Gram Panchayat of Jalpaiguri Sadar Block in the district. The bodies of Robbie Roy and the Reformation of Oraon were brought to Jalpaiguri on Saturday morning. Prashant Roy is conducting treatment at a Siliguri hospital in the Darjeeling district. It is also learned that a total of four people are killed in landslides, two of whom come from West Bengals. A team of 11 laborers from Jalpaiguri reached peeling on December 15 and was working on the construction of the Skywalk. On Thursday afternoon there was a sudden landslide in the area, after which the accident occurred. The Deputy Chief of Baropatia Gram Panchayat said the district administration made arrangements to return the bodies of the dead workers.
