Two more people died of Kovid in Bangladesh, 15 new cases were reported

Dhaka, June 13 (IANS). Bangladesh recorded two new deaths from Kovid-19 over the past 24 hours. The first death of Kovid-19 was recorded on June 5 this year when a person died of this infectious disease in the capital Dhaka. In addition, 15 new cases of Kovid-19 have also been reported. With this, the daily test rose positive rate to 8.62 percent in 24 hours to 8 hours of local time on Friday. Official data showed that 174 samples were tested over the past 24 hours. The country’s interim government said in a statement that it would soon be planning a campaign to give Kovid-19 vaccine supplements to increase the weakened immunity of people against infectious diseases. Abu Jafar, director general of the Director General of Health Services (DGHS), said on Wednesday that a campaign would be launched to vaccinate people over 60 years old, provisional workers and people suffering from co-integrity. According to the report of the Xinhua news agency, he said that DGHS has a stock of about 17 Lakh Kovid-19 vaccine for the vaccination campaign. In the midst of the re-capacity in Kovid-19 infection in many countries in Southeast Asia, the interim government of Bangladesh has already asked to avoid traveling to those destinations until it is absolutely necessary. DGHs under the Ministry of Health have also ordered the relevant authorities to increase health examination and monitoring measures at all ports to prevent the spread of infection.
