The body of the top traders decides to boycott Turkey, Azerbaijan; insist on the film industry to follow it | Today news
More than 125 leading trade leaders from all over the country resolved on May 16 to boycott all forms of trade and commercial involvement with Turkey and Azerbaijan, including travel and tourism. The trading bodies also called on the Indian film industry not to take a film in Turkey and Azerbaijan. In the event that the traders have promised, if any shooting is done, the business community and the people will boycott such films. The resolution also warns corporate homes not to record any product promotion film in Turkey and Azerbaijan. The decision was made at a national conference of trade leaders who met by the ‘Confederation of All India Traders (Cait)’ in New -Delhi, where representatives of 24 states participated. The conference has decided to stand in Solidarity with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and oppose everyone who is against India at this important time in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack against India.
