Trump is optimistic about the agreement with Iran after 'very good' negotiations in Rome
US President Donald Trump described the latest negotiations through his administration with Iran as ‘very good’ during the weekend, while trying to limit the Nuclear program of the Islamic Republic. Trump told reporters at Maurice Town Airport in New Jersey on Sunday as he returned to Washington: “We had very good negotiations with Iran yesterday and today, and we will not happen.” He added: “I don’t know if I will tell you anything good or bad during the next two days, but I feel that I can tell you something good.” American and Iranian officials held talks in Rome on Friday. Iranian Foreign Minister and the main negotiator of the country, Abbas Araqji, said these talks could lead to an agreement during the next two meetings. Trump said in the oil market: “I hope it will happen, because I don’t like to drop any bombs, nor that many people die … I think the opportunity to happen is wonderful.” Trump’s latest remarks, together with the most optimistic tone at the end of the talks in Rome, can contribute to the oil market calming down, which was disturbed by Trump’s threat of bombing Iran as the talks collapsing. Israel also said it would take military measures against Tehran if he saw that it was necessary. Oil prices remained stable early on Monday, as Brent ruol rose 0.3% to nearly $ 65 a barrel to 7:08 pm.
