China also appointed Li Chenggang, formerly China’s ambassador to the World Trade Organization (WTO) as its new international trade representative. Meanwhile, Trump also expressed optimism that an EU American trade agreement could be worked as he welcomed Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in the White House.
