Lumio Vision 9 Review: Does it meet its 'Fast TV' claims?

Copyright © HT Digital Streams Limit all rights reserved. The Lumio Vision 9 -Summary Lumio, a new Indian TV brand, says the USP has started faster, navigation and search -something that has been caught for years. Does the product deliver this promise? Let’s notice that you probably haven’t heard of Lumio yet, and I won’t blame you once. The brand, the name of which is a Portmanteau of ‘Lumens’ (a degree of brightness) and ‘I/O’ (input output), is a new face in the Indian consumer technology space. Behind Lumio is the less snazzy-sounding Circuit House Technologies, a huge crew of many well-known faces most former Xiaomi people who made Xiaomi TVs a household name-who came together to do home entertainment. Both their debutant products, the Qled Vision 7 and the flagship-mini-led Vision 9, strive for their cross chairs on the big guns in the segment, TVs that Lumio claims are part of a ‘slow TV epidemic’-stay slow to start, to navigate and abandon the programs. But do Lumio shake things enough to earn consideration against fairly well -established brands? Is the ‘India’s fastest TV’ claim legit? And is the Vision 9 (£ 59.999) worth its flagship bill? You have come to the right place to find out. Design and build up, sturdy, well built, but modest, is how I would describe the Vision 9, with no specific design to distinguish its whole black plastic body except for the subtle lumio brand on the lower ring. Thin rare-by-edges give the only 55-inch variant an extensive, exciting feeling, and although I felt the metal stand it was too safe, it was keeping the TV stable when placed on a table. There is an almost-Jobsian level of detail to the design of the back panel, clean and unobtrusive, a nice touch for something that is often overlooked and barely seen. However, handier is the well-marked and easily accessible (even if the wall mounted) gateway, and the gates also mark the boxes, with 3 HDMI 2.1 (including 1 EARC), 3 USB, LAN, Optical Out, Mini AV, sound and even a port for those who have not yet cut the cord. Such a BOG standard as the Lumio Vision 9 is mounted on a wall, the brand has assured that you remember that you are using a lumio TV … via a completely unlikely companion, the pleasant and appropriate minion distance ministry. The sturdy remote control is finished in a premium rifle metal gray plastic and is comfortable to hold and satisfactory tangible with each button. Also read: When fast trading programs become your address book exhibition and sound all the actions focused rightly on the front, where the Vision 9’s 4K QD (Quantum Dot) mini-Led Panel full of 1920 mini-Ledes allows much accurate control over local diming, while it raises up to 900 nits peak of brightness in HDR content. Where translated is deep, just brief black levels and impressive brightness levels to deal with even the notorious Dark Game of Thrones, with a sense of confidence. The way the TV managed to preserve detail about the shadows, and the highlights often led me to notice detail that I missed in a previous view on another TV. Although Dolby Vision and HDR10 support are a given, what is more impressive, how good the colors are, straight out of the box. The Vision 9 forgives the live, over -saturated setting on many TVs and shows a reasonable amount of restraint when it reinforces tasteful colors in the representation of film mode. For most content on Netflix and Apple TV+, I find that I vary between a very color accurate film and standard mode, and the brightness and details make that look at animated content and bright scenes a joy to look at, although sometimes with almost striking levels of brightness. Together with 24W speakers in a Quad driver setup (2 Tweeters + 2 full range) and its extraordinary large 800 ml of acoustic cavities, the Vision 9 does well to provide an excellent cinema-in-a packaging is competent, singing is clear enough, and the Dolby atmosphere will not replace a multi-channel system. Gamers looking for a perfect companion for their PS5 will enjoy the HDR footage and low latency, but the 60Hz update rate and no support for variable update rate is likely to limit its casual players’ attraction. Performance for someone with an outdated Android TV who is unfortunately just four years old, the Vision 9 not only surprised, it actually surprised me the first few times. No longer waiting for the TV to start slowly after the power or is even worse, waiting for the TV to catch up while navigating the content-filled wall of recommendations, the Vision 9 takes a somewhat complacent boss processor, a faster Wi-Fi chips and 3 GB Snappy DDR4 memory to deliver a shot in the arm for the Google TV. Apps start fast, multitasking between programs is without any delay and programs that load the content and get out of the way, so you spend less time browsing and navigating and watching more time. Does it solve the incessant decision making which show to watch? Unfortunately, that one is on you. With the Performance Headroom on the Vision 9, the idea that the TV should continue to stay funny, even years later, something that one couldn’t test in the three weeks I had the TV with me. What I did notice is how Lumio tried to distinguish itself with the TLDRAPP. The app draws direct sports scores, match schedules and the latest Chartbusters in a single intuitively designed dashboard, and I like the direction the app has taken. Verdict Cue Avneet Kaur asks “Bunty, Tera TV Slow Hai Kya?” And if the camera goes to you, it nods in agreement, the Lumio Vision 9 definitely does enough right to earn to be (and chosen) in a sub-1-Lakh segment and to be chosen and far above the price point. The brand was launched with a comprehensive 2-year and 300+ service centers guarantee covering an alleged 19,000+ PIN codes, which is a reassurance for customers who are not used to the new name.
