Punjab CM Mann tries to create differences between people: Haryana CM Sainin

Haryana’s chief minister Naib Singh Saini, on Tuesday (6 May 2025), accused Punjab’s counterpart Bhagwant Mann of “trying to create differences between people” for political profits, while the conflict between the two states, especially on issues of water divisions. Sainin spoke during a meeting in his official home in Chandigarh, and Mr. Mann’s position on water sharing criticized. Shri Sainin said: “It is wrong to make controversial remarks about the part of water by a person sitting in constitutional post. Haryana’s chief minister said that ‘Haryana and Punjab are’ brothers’ claim that Mr. Moon trying to create differences. Shri Sainin said: “The honorary sarcar must work for the welfare of the farmers. They must guarantee that they will buy their crops at the minimum support price (MSP).
