Andra Soni will maximize the construction of uninhabitable homes in Banten
Serang – Banten -Governor Andra Soni is committed to improving and rebuilding uninhabitable homes (RTLH) in his area. He emphasized that the presence of the government must be felt by people in need. It was transferred by Andra Soni on Thursday when he visited Cokop Sulanjana Village, Waringin Kurung District, Serang Regency (4/17/2025). During the visit, he handed over residential home keys to two families of the recipients of help. Families who receive help are Hatibi and Sikin. Their home is classified as unfit for occupancy, with bamboo walls and leaking roofs. Their old home was then taken apart and replaced with a new modern model house. Andra promised to expand the Livable Housing Development Program and grant a special budget for it. “I was inaugurated for only a month. The APBD ran and the RPJMD is being prepared. God wants, I will maximize the target to build homeless homes,” he said. However, Andra emphasizes the importance of synergy between the regency/city government, the Banten provincial government and the central government. “This program should be supported by cooperation between local governments and the central government.
