Mumbai: Jail, fine and exile for four citizens in Bangladesh for illegal accommodation

Mumbai, June 7 (IANS). Four citizens in Bangladesh were convicted by the Asplayed Court in two separate cases registered for illegal residence in India at the Kurar police station in Mumbai. The court sentenced the four citizens in Bangladesh to imprisonment and imposed financial fine. In addition, commands were ordered to be deported out of the country. Kurar police have arrested four citizens in Bangladesh, including two women and two men. These four lived in India without any valid documents. According to police, one accused was arrested from Malad area on January 9, 2025, while the other citizen in Bangladesh was arrested near the Omkar SRA building in Malad area on March 7, 2025. In the interrogation of these two, two more women in Bangladesh who live illegally were found. Police have registered cases under the relevant parts of the Act and filed a charge sheet with the court in time. During the hearing, the Mumbai Court convicted the four accused on the basis of statements and documentary evidence from witnesses. The court sentenced him to imprisonment and fined Rs 500-500. In the case of non -payment of fine, two days of additional supervision were ordered. In addition, the court also ordered him to consist of India. Bangladesh citizens live illegally in most countries of the country. Each state police are campaigning on a war filling to identify the citizens of illegal Bangladesh. There are plans to identify and send citizens of Bangladesh to their country. However, Bangladesh repeatedly refuses to verify his own citizens. Randhir Jaiswal, spokesperson for the Foreign Affairs spokesman, said in a statement that India is constantly requesting Bangladesh government to withdraw its citizens who live here illegally.
