Ozone Layer: Earth's security!
Trending Ozone Layer: Earth’s Security! Our earth fell from the atmosphere from all sides. This atmosphere has very different layers and each layer has its own different functions. One such layer in the atmosphere is the ozone layer. The ozone layer is found in the stratosphere of the earth’s atmosphere. This layer consists of small particles of ozone gas. We know about the oxygen that keeps us alive and contains two particles of oxygen (O2). Ozone in the form of oxygen containing three particles (O3). Many types of different rays come from the sun. One of these is ultraviolet (UFS) rays. These sun rays are very harmful to our skin and eyes. It is so harmful that if these rays reach the earth, problems such as skin cancer will become very frequent. These rays harm not only humans and animals, but also to trees and plants. The ozone layer in the atmosphere, by incorporating these UV rays, protects us. Man -made gas such as chlorophilorocarbon damages the ozone layer and pierce it. One such hole in the ozone layer was found above the Antarctica continent in the 1980s. Getting holes in the ozone layer means that more UV rays reach the earth’s surface and damage life here. For the repair of holes in the ozone layer over Antarctica, an international treaty called ‘Montreal Protocol’ was signed. The purpose of this treaty was to prohibit the production of chlorofluorocolates and other substances that damage the ozone layer. To a large extent, this treaty was also successful. Because of this treaty, there was also an improvement in holes in the ozone layer. The hole of the ozone layer is slowly filled and it is estimated to be filled by the middle of the 21st century.
