The then DM KK Vijayendra Pandian sent a proposal to the government to change the name Mundera Bazar Nagar Panchayat to Chaurichora Nagar Panchayat. According to the administration’s proposal, the government sent a proposal for NOC to the Ministry of Home Affairs. It was agreed.
