KPK has investigated the director general of planology of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs related to the Rita Widyasari case
Jakarta – The KPK has investigated the Director General of Forestry Planology at the Ministry of Forestry, Ade Tri Aji Kusumah (ATA). He was questioned as a witness in the alleged satisfaction case that facilitated prisoners and former Regent of Kutai Kartanegara (Kukar), Rita Widyasari. “The KPK has an investigation into the alleged TPK witnesses related to the satisfaction of Kutai Carthanegara,” KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo told reporters. “Ata Director -General of Forestry Planology, the Ministry of Forestry,” he added. He was then heard in a satisfactory case. In 2018, Rita was sentenced to ten years in prison by the panel of the judges of the Central Jakarta Corruption Court. Rita was also sentenced to pay a fine of RP. 600 million in 6 months incarceration and repeal of political rights for 5 years. The judge said it was proven that Rita received the satisfaction of RP 110 billion related to project licensing in Kutai Carthanegara. Rita tried to fight the verdict. Rita’s efforts were established after the Supreme Court rejected the request for review (PK) in 2021. Rita was executed after Pondok Bambu Lapas. In addition to the satisfaction case, Rita is still a suspect in the alleged TPPU case. In July 2024, the KPK revealed that Rita also received money from mining entrepreneurs. Asep Guntur Rahayu, director of the KPK investigation, said Rita received satisfaction in the form of fractions of the US Dollar (USA).
