Jakarta -The 80th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia is becoming increasingly special with the presence of the Nusantara festival in the SCBD area. The main purpose is not only to celebrate the Republic of Indonesia’s anniversary, but also to introduce Indonesian cultural wealth to the younger generation. “We are about 20 thousand visitors directed. In addition to celebrating the 80th Indonesian Independence Day, we want the younger generation to be more familiar with the Indonesian culture to keep on and develop it in the future,” he said. Roland hopes this celebration will be a momentum to strengthen unity in diversity. “This festival also works with Arta Graha Care and Artha Graha Network. As for one of the visitors, Nimas claimed that he really enjoyed different performances at the Nusantara festival. He felt that all the cultural performances that were displayed had their own charm. “I think everything is interesting because I really like performances that local areas carry,” Nimas said. He was of the opinion that this kind of festival should not only be present during major celebrations such as the Republic of Indonesia’s anniversary. According to him, the cultural agenda can be held more frequently so that the community is closer to tradition. “I think it takes routine, maybe at least once a month,” Nimas said. Furthermore, he said a lot of momentum that can actually be used to hold a cultural festival, not just every August 17. From the commemoration of Children’s Day, Mother’s Day, to Father’s Day, everyone can be used as a cultural expression space. “Our cultural celebration can actually be included at every great occasion, such as commemoration of Children’s Day, Mother’s Day, until Father’s Day.
