Coal India’s Northern Coalphields Limited (NCL) will acquire 927 hectares of land here and expand its Jayant coal mine on the UP-MP border. About 30 thousand crores will be spent on this whole process. According to NCL recording, approximately 800 million tonnes of coal will be extracted from here. The process was started. Section 9 of the Beer Beer Area Act (Preparation for Acquisition) was implemented in February last year. Now it is transferred. For this, land measurement, homes, shops and other businesses began. On this basis, compensation will be given by assessing the rehabilitation of the displaced.
