Anugerah TMII Regional Pavilion, Menbud emphasizes the role of the region for culture

Jakarta -The Ministry of Culture (Kemenbud RI) with Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) held the Pradana Nitya Budaya TMII award in 2025 or the TMII Regional Pavilion award. This event is a series of ‘Nusantara People’s Party Events’, commemorating the 50th anniversary of Taman Mini Indonesia Indah Taman in Plaza Kemong Mas, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, Jakarta. This is in line with the idea of ​​ten Soharto when you set up TMII, namely to create a cultural park that can be a miniature of Indonesia, a place where people can see the variety of the archipelago in one day. “The mandate of our Constitution requires us to promote the Indonesian national culture in the midst of the world. The assessment process is performed on 32 regional platforms by considering physical aspects, which consists of building management and traditional buildings, landscapes, excellence of display windows, as well as completeness of facilities, clarity of directions and existing information. In addition, the assessment is based on aspects of management and human resources, including the budget and others optimized to support cultural conservation. As a result, 16 platforms were selected as the recipient of the TMII Regional Platform Charter, and 3 platforms with the best management became the recipient of the TMII regional pavilion rotating cup. The existence of the Pradana Nitya Budaya TMII Award is expected to be a trigger to continue to improve the consistency and quality of management, as well as to encourage the innovation and improvement of the platforms in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah as a cultural conservation entity.
