DGP inaugurated 4 mobile forensic wagons
Haryana DGP Shatrujit Kapoor inaugurated four state of the -Aarts mobile forensic wagons on the FSL Madhuban campus on Friday. He also revealed advanced toddler packaging and seal material developed by FSL. It will not only reinforce the acceptance of evidence in court, but will also ensure that the evidence remains intact from collection to presentation. This will increase transparency and accountability in the justice system, reduce the risk of offense and increase public’s confidence in judicial consequences. DNA sampling, fingerprint recording, digital documentation, camera recording and equipped wagons for initial analysis can directly collect scientific evidence at crime spots, which will eliminate the delay and avoid the weakened evidence. In addition, wagons are particularly beneficial for rural and remote areas, where investigators first waited for experts to arrive. The DGP said: “Both of these initiatives reflect the commitment to the scientific approach of Haryana police. FSL is no longer a reporting agency, it plays a crucial role in every phase of scientific justice. He said the recruitment process was active for 257 new posts, which is expected to be filled soon.
