Five Naxalites have been arrested with US rifle and other weapons in Hazaribagh
Hazaribagh, June 13 (IANS). Hazaribagh district of Jharkhand has arrested five Naxalites, including the most prestigious commander Prashant alias Awadhesh Singh of the banned organization TSPC (third conference presentation committee). Several weapons, including the US manufactured AR 15m-4 US rifle, were recovered from them. According to police, this Naxalite recently attacked a mining business in the Keredari police station and set fire to several vehicles. Cases of murder, firing, extortion, kidnapping and extortion are also registered against them in many police stations. Hazaribagh Spt Anjani Anjan said at a press conference on Friday that Sadar SDPO received information on the evening of June 12 that 7-8 TSPC militants tried to conduct a major incident.
