In a shocking incident of Bengaluru, HN Sanjay, 29, a software professional and a resident of Vajarahalli on Kanakapura Main Road, died after refusing to buy cigarettes for man who was allegedly drunk. The accused, identified as Pratek, 31, struck from behind his car in the victim’s motorcycle. Police arrested him. The incident happened in Vasanthapura Cross on Kanakapura Road. Pratek is a resident of RR Nagar, a BCom graduate and a manager at a private business. What exactly happened? Police obtained CCTV footage of the tragic incident and filed a murder case. On May 10, Sanjay smokes a cigarette along the way with his friend, Chetan Pujamath. The two retired in the early hours of the morning for a short break from work, police said. At that moment, the accused, Pratek, drove to the location and, while sitting in his car, asked Sanjay to buy a cigarette for him from a nearby seller along the road, which rejected Sanjay, and allegedly talked to his tight and privileged behavior, which led to an intense argument. The residents stepped in and successfully unbundled the situation, after which Pratek drove away angry and parked his car a little way away. Later, while Sanjay and Chetan return to their office on Sanjay’s motorcycle, Pratek allegedly pulled his car from behind them. Sanjay sustained a serious head injury after beating the ground and dying from his injuries in hospital on Tuesday. Chetan, who drove as the pillow of the pillow, also sustained considerable injuries and has currently received treatment in a hospital. According to reports, the accused was intoxicated at the time of the incident and was on his way home with his wife after attending a party. Meanwhile, the subramanyapura police are investigating the matter further.
