"Work from Portiers assigned in Private Hands ..." Sanjay Singh announced to raise voice in parliament, made this promise to Kuli Samaj in the video

Senior AAAM AADMI Party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh will find the issues of the Coolie community working at railway stations across the country in parliament. On Tuesday, the people of the Coolie community met Sanjay Singh and called on him to draw up his issues in parliament. Sanjay Singh said that the government handed the work of porters to private hands at railway stations, causing the Coolie community to become unemployed. I raised his issues in the house several times, but the government paid no attention. He said Lalu Prasad Yadav brought a policy and gave work to 20 thousand porters in the railway, but thousands of porters have not yet found work. Now I will discuss their issues in parliament again and we will be stuck with them in their struggle. Senior AAAM Aadmi Party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh held a press conference with the People of the Coolie community at the party’s headquarters on Tuesday, saying they have been there since the railway stations. A movie Coolie was also released on the porters. We meet these porters during our journey, they bear our burden and then we forget them. There is no one to hear or understand the pain of porters. When Lalu Prasad Yadav was the country’s railway minister, he brought a policy to work on the porters or a person of his family in the railroad. At that time, approximately 22 thousand porches found work under this policy. But still 20 thousand porters did not find work. Sanjay Singh said that the issue of porches deprived of work was raised several times in parliament. Now the central government has handed the work of the porches to private hands, which made the status of the porters more pathetic. The porters had earlier had some income through the Coolie Mai app. It was also ended by giving the work of porters in private hands. These porters have not yet found a government work and do not get Porter’s work. I am sad and upset because of a lack of work at railway stations across the country, I will prominently raise the issue of porters during the parliamentary session. If the Coolie gives Jantar Mantar or somewhere else, I will join their Dharna. Rashtriya Kuli Morcha convener Ram Suresh Yadav, who was present during this period, said that our demand that the remaining porches be housed in the railroad under the policy launched by Lalu Prasad Yadav in 2008. The work of the porters has not yet affected much with technology such as escalators and elevator today, but the government has handed the work of the porters to the private companies under the privatization system. So there is no work left for the porters now. In the last session, Sanjay Singh raised our issue in the house and the Railways Minister responded in the home. The Minister of Railways said that their children for the upliftment and social security of the porter facilities such as education, health, uniform, water and rest house, but these facilities are not provided at any railway station in the country. Even after the command of the Railway Board, these facilities are not provided. Ram Suresh Yadav said that even if the government provides these facilities, which is the benefit to us when our work will be handed over to private hands. Private businesses will make their people work. If we do not have a job, we cannot teach our children or drive our home. There is a question from the central government that the way the porters were adjusted in 2008 should be adjusted the rest. Former Railway Minister Lal Prasad Yadav has promised that Portiers will be housed between 18 and 50 years. After this, the children of those who survive will also find work. But this promise has not been fulfilled so far. Our demand is that all porters be housed in the railways. Share this story -tags
