94 Lakh families identified among caste -based calculations
The government led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in Bihar has taken another important step towards social and economic justice. It was decided to draw up a high-level committee chaired by the Development Commissioner with the aim of providing entrepreneurial assistance of Rs 2 Lakh each on the basis of caste-based calculations performed in the state. The proposal was approved by the Chief Minister in a cabinet meeting on Tuesday. Under this historical decision, the government aims to encourage economically backward classes for self -activity and entrepreneurship, so that their food is strengthened and they can be self -sufficient. Committee Responsibility: This committee led by the Development Commissioner will include senior officials from different departments, which will set up the exposition, implementation process, suitability criteria and monitoring system of this auxiliary scheme. This committee will also decide how to identify the beneficiaries, through which medium should distribute the amount and how to evaluate the impact of the scheme. Use of caste calculations: The caste-based calculation conducted by the Bihar government was the first initiative of its kind in the country, in which the socio-economic situation was deeply analyzed. Using the data of this calculation, the government is now implementing the targeted scheme, so that the benefit of development can reach the classes that have been neglected for decades. Vision of Nitish Kumar: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar repeatedly emphasized that not only social justice, but that economic justice is just as important. Through this scheme, the government wants to encourage youth and poor families for self -activity so that they do not depend on anyone and make their own identity.
