Preparations for visiting US Vice President JD Vance in Jaipur in full swing, security arrangements

Jaipur, April 21 (IANS). Preparations in the Rajasthan capital for the upcoming Jaipur visit of US Vice President JD Vance are at its peak. Jaipur police have made extensive arrangements to make the security system impenetrable. The city was placed on a major warning for the next four days, and traffic management was also assured with the arrangement of alternative routes. Additional Commissioner of Police (Act and Order) Rameshwar Singh said that a wide police force had been deployed for the safety of JD Vance. The security arrangements include 20 additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP), 40 Assistant Police Commissioner (ACP), 300 ASI, SI and CI led by 7 IPS officials. In addition, 2100 constables are deployed in the field, which will ensure monitoring and safety in different parts of the city. Rameshwar Singh said: “We have taken all necessary steps to avoid any discomfort during the visit of the US Vice President of India. Special arrangements were made for traffic pressure areas, and alternative routes were also prepared.” Jaipur police have paid particular attention to the most important places, hotels and routes of the city from which the US Vice President will pass the convoy. Additional police forces were deployed in sensitive areas and preparations were made to deal with any possible threat by coordinating with intelligence agencies.
