“The most elegant homeless man in the world” .. How to inspire the world of Al -Azia – ryan

No one imagined that a homeless man would become an inspiration for the fashion world, but this is what happened with “Slavic”, who attracted the attention of photographer Yorko Diacchin, to become the champion of his project “Slavic Fashion”, a photographic series that documented his distinctive looks for two years.

The story started in 2011 when Diacchin met Slavic in the streets, and he noticed his unique style of coordinating clothes from things he found in the garbage or getting it from shelters.

Despite his difficult circumstances, he appeared in a renewed appearance daily, which prompted the photographer to document those spontaneous moments that later turned into a group that received global attention, even from prominent figures in the fashion industry, such as Dimenna Jafasia, according to the Bright Side website.

The project was not merely documenting an unconventional fashion, but rather a human experience, as Diacchin focused on capturing the details of the unfair life away from the fashion and brands obsession.

Despite his departure from the fashion world, he is still grateful for the interest that his works received, which established Slavic as a symbol of originality and free expression of the self, until he called the “most elegant and elegant man in the world.”
