According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the latest prediction of the meteorological department is expected to receive heavy to very heavy rainfall during the next 48 hours in the southern and eastern parts of Rajasthan. The department issued a red warning for Kota, Banswara, Dungarpur, Sirohi, Udaipur, Bundi and Pratapgarh. There is a possibility of heavy rain and strong winds in these districts. On administration -warning NDRF teams have deployed NDRF and SDRF teams in different districts to handle rain and possible floods. The district administration was instructed to close schools in sensitive areas and people should be advised to be vigilant.
