16 Towns will remain in Hapur, refused to give to GDA; Ghaziabad -LP said -it is appropriate to keep towns in HPDA -GDA -Receive for Pilkhuwa villages Create Dispute with HPDA
Updated: Di, 23 Sep 2025 08:24 am (IST) There is a dispute between Ghaziabad and Hapur-Pilkhuva authorities over 16 towns in the Pilkhuwa region. The GDA asks for these towns, but HPDA disagrees. MP MLAs and local people are also at HPDA. They argue that towns have more connectivity with Hapur and that it would not be appropriate to include it in GDA. HPDA also refused to give to the towns. Together with HPDA officials, MLA and Pilkhuwa chairman were not in favor of the towns. Remove the ad, just read the news, now they have also received the support of the MP. Ghaziabad MP atul Garg has made it clear that it will be justified to keep the aforementioned 16 towns in HPDA. There is no justification that these towns are included economically and socially in the GDA. The Ghaziabad Development Authority and the Hapur Pilkhuva Development Authority are face to face with the villages of the border area. GDA claims 16 towns in the Pilkhuwa region of HPDA. At the same time, HPDA is not ready to give it. At the same time, three towns of Hapur taken in GDA also demand back. The case of 16 towns coming to HPDA has previously been raised in front of the officials. There was also a virtual meeting last month. In it, too, the towns were refused to hand over the GDA. Now MLA and VC have opened a front on this matter. At the same time, Ghaziabad’s MP also insisted on keeping these towns in Hapur. This reinforced HPDA’s claim. At the same time, the HPDA VC also sent a final report on his behalf in this case. In which it is made clear that it is not justified to give the mentioned villages from any social and economic point of view to GDA. Hapur District Ghaziabad was cut and built. It was a Tehsil of the Ghaziabad district. In 2011, the government made Hapur a district and divided a Tehsil into three parts to three Tehsils. At the same time, GDA looked after the development work in Ghaziabad. In addition, a second development authority was made in the name of Hapur-Pilkhuwa. It was a small development authority, in such a situation such towns in the area are also included, which fall in the Ghaziabad district. In this succession, five towns of the Modinagar region and 16 towns of the Pilkhuwa region also came to HPDA. The demand to join the GDA border because it is part of the Ghaziabad district, next to Mussorie. It will provide land for new development schemes and industries of the Ghaziabad district. According to officials, the eastern peripheral highway goes through the border of Ghaziabad and Hapur Pilkhuwa. Along with this highway, Arbital Rail Corridor is proposed by Pilkhuwa. The visibility for this caridor has begun. Nodal GDA was made. In such a situation, the GDA will need land for development under the expansion scheme. In such a situation, this town became important to both GDA and HPDA. At the council meeting, GDA claimed these towns several times, while HPDA clearly refused. In the Zoom meeting held last week, HPDA refused to hand over these towns. These villages claim GDA Mussorie (the entire region of the east and west of the Ganges channel), Nahl, Mohuddinpur Dabarasi, Nidori, Drafa, Shamli, Mudrashapur, Atrauli, Awwalpur, Zoya, Kanakpur, Aurangabad Datdi, Mukpur, Ishkagar, Nahali, Mukpur, Ishnagar and Nagula Amirpur. The above 16 towns may be in the Ghaziabad district, but it is part of Hapur. It takes ten minutes before people come to Hapur while one hour reaches GDA. In such a situation, these towns must also be held in HPDA in the public interest. We opposed it. We objected by mentioning the mandalayukta. – Dharmesh Tomar- MLA Dhaulana MP Atul Garg also offered to keep the mentioned towns in HPDA. Actually, the geographical casing of these towns is of such a nature that it is accessible to travel to HPDA. At the same time, they must be kept in Hapur authority from the economic and regional situation of authority. MLA Dhaulana Dharmesh Tomar, chairman Pilkhuwa Vibhu Bansal and LP Ghaziabad Atul Garg also gave their permission in favor of HPDA. On this we have issued our last side that the said towns will not be given to GDA. – Dr. Nitin Gold – VC – HPDA
