Lieutenant -Governor Manoj Sinha described that Amarnath Yatra is smooth and safe. He visited Nunvan and Chandanwadi base camps and made the arrangements and inaugurated the footbridge for the passengers. The Lieutenant -Governor visited Nunavan and Chandanwadi on Sunday and checked the arrangements for the sacred pilgrimage of baby Amarnath. The trip is scheduled to start on July 3. At the Nunavan base camp, the Lieutenant -Governor inaugurated a footbridge for a smooth movement of passengers. The new facility will make the security control efficient and reduce the waiting time for the dedicated. He perished with the administrative and security officers for the sacred journey and took the safety arrangements and preparations of the relevant departments. He has reviewed the progress of disaster management centers and passenger residences at Nunvan and the works of various services for passengers, including housing, anchors, electricity and water supply, sanitation, health facilities, traffic management, fire and emergency services and deployment of security personnel. He instructed telecommunications businesses to deploy dedicated nodal officers on both routes to ensure uninterrupted telecommunications connection. During his visit, the Lieutenant -Governor also died with doctors and medical teams at Chandanwadi Base Camp Hospital and used their preparations.
