Jakarta – The Golkar Party reacts to the performance of almost one year of President Prabowo Subianto’s leadership. A senior Golkar Party politician, Muhidin Mohamad Said, praised Prabowo’s program which directly affected the people. “I think one year into Pak Prabowo’s government, we felt that Pak Prabowo’s current programs that directly affect the people are extraordinary,” said Muhidin Mohamad Said at the Golkar Party DPP, Palmerah, West Jakarta, Saturday (18/10/2025). SCROLL TO CONTINUE CONTENT Muhidin said Golkar will always support Prabowo’s program. These include programs to increase economic growth and create new jobs. “The Golkar Party will continue to support Pak Prabowo’s activities or programs that have really provided evidence, clear, concrete activities to increase economic growth and of course how to open new jobs throughout Indonesia,” he said. He also commented on Prabowo’s program which was not optimal. He said Golkar will encourage maximization of the program. “We are encouraging how we can maximize it, and we are working with the government to carry out and implement what has been programmed by the president at this point,” he said. Furthermore, Muhidin also responded to the promise of job opportunities for which the community was still waiting. He said all Prabowo’s programs will also aim to create new jobs. “So it is so, it is possible, yes, but what is done will lead to it. For example, yes, one public kitchen can host 45 new jobs. There is no problem that economic growth can still absorb production products in the countryside. If it goes normally, whatever it is usually, there will definitely be initial shortages,” said Muhidin. “Because these are also initial activities. Whether it is in the education sector, in the health sector and so on, MBG is the flagship of Pak Prabowo’s activities or programs, it will run continuously and be properly evaluated so that it can later achieve the target by absorbing new job opportunities throughout Indonesia. And Golkar will oversee all of this for the success of all these programs,” he added. As is known, President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka were officially inaugurated on 20 October 2024. So Prabowo and Gibran led Indonesia for almost a year. (mib/zap)
