JAMMU: Baisakhi's surge in areas along the international border, farmers celebrated celebrations

Baisakhi is not only a traditional festival in the Jammu region, but is seen as a symbol of ripening and harvesting of the Rabi crop. Farmers celebrate this day as a wishes of God and wish for wealth. Several border towns of the Jammu region, including town of Marh, have seen a lot of enthusiasm among the people since Saturday morning. Farmers and villagers decorated in traditional costumes were seen dancing on the drums and drums. Mass Bhandaras and anthems were also arranged to the Puja. People fed each other and wished Baisakhi by feeding sweets. Farmers from nearby towns near Saharanpur, next to the border, said during the conversation that there were general fire incidents until a few years ago, which allowed many barriers to farm and harvesting the crop, but now the situation is calm and farmers work in fields without fear. The farmers said that the Rabi crop was good this time, through which they are very happy. He said this day is a day for him to express gratitude to God, because farming is the basis of his life and hope. A farmer said: “Earlier, when he worked in the field earlier, there was a fear in the spirit, but now they could work with peace.
