11th Asian aquatic Championship: Srihari Nataraj wins medal India's account

Ahmedabad, September 28 (IANS). Srihari Nataraj opened India’s account by winning a silver medal in the 200m freestyle and 50m backlash event at the 11th Asian Aquatian Championship held in the Savarkar Sports Complex in Ahmedabad. He took an impressive time of 1: 48.47 seconds in 200 m freestyle. China’s Hybo Zoo finishes first to finish 1: 46.83 seconds and won the gold medal. In the 50 -meter backstroke, he won the silver medal by taking a time of 25.46 seconds. Gukalai Wang of China won the gold medal with a time of 25.11 seconds. Srihari made a brilliant start in the 200 meter freestyle on Sunday night in the first race of the final. He swam in track number 1 and was equal to the Hibo, his first 50 m division was 25.10 seconds, while the sugar swimmer was 24.93 seconds. They gave a tough competition to the Highbo with a sharp turn and fast streamlined underwater kicks from both sides. His second and third distribution of 50 m was 52.35 seconds and 1: 20.39 seconds, while the Hybo was 51.81 and 1: 19.41 seconds respectively. In 50 meters backstroke, Srihari acted brilliantly from the beginning and maintained his sprint speed with Gukalai Wang of China. In the 200m freestyle for women, the Japan’s Minami Yui took an early lead over a 25 -meter mark, while his compatriot Hanari Runo was just behind him. Up to half the road, Runo picks up a lead and leaves Yui behind. Once I left Yui, TMT of Vietnam, he and the India’s Dhinidhi Dersinghu also came behind him and finished second and third. Dramatic changes were seen in the final phase. Hong Kong’s Shintong Wang and Japan’s H. Tanimoto overtook Dersinghu (2: 02.84), who had to be satisfied with fifth place after breaking the national record of 2: 02.97. On the brilliant performance of Srihari, India head coach Nihar Amin said: “It’s amazing to win two consecutive medals on the first day. Srihari will try to win a third medal in the relay.
