From Jane Krakowski to André de Shields, look at the surprising Broadway gas stars in the first season of the new Murder Mystery series.

In February, CBS debuted its latest spin-off from the series The good woman franchise, Elsbeth. The series plays Emmy winner and Broadway alumnus Carrie Preston As Elsbeth Tascioni, a sharp but unconventional lawyer who uses her simple stance to make unique observations and brilliant criminals along the NYPD, “according to the official summary. The Investigative Murder Society Series also plays Broadway artists Wendell Pierce (Death of a salesmanand Carra Patterson (Jitney).
The show takes place and films in New York. Fortunately for us, it means an abundance of Broadway artists who appear Gaster. In commemoration of last night’s season final, Playbill watched the entire first season (now streamed on paramount+).
Below are some of our favorite comos of actors who walked the boards on Broadway. Elsbeth was renewed, so we are excited to see what stage favorite season 2 will appear! Maybe a reunion with Christine Baran or Audra McDonald?

Will her luxury matchmaker be able to find a game for her, or will she have to use other measures to make her client happy?

Episode 5: “Ball Girl”
We all know about stage moms, but what about sports dads? Blair Underwoodwhich recently appeared in the Tony-winning revival of A soldier’s playgas stars as the father of an upcoming tennis player who will make his son come out on top of the US Open … in any way needed!

Episode 6: “an ear for an ear”
Beauty is pain … and so is murder! When a famous plastic surgeon is found dead on social media, her former boss and mentor played by Gina gershonbe investigated. Can her cold and unbound mindset be a sign of a killer? Or can she simply not be bothered? Last year it is responsible for the investigation Parade Tony nominee Micaela Diamond As a detective Edwards, who is not too happy to have Elsbeth invaded in her case. Will Diamond’s character take help or fight?

Episode 9: “Sweet Justice”
