Avengers: Doomsday actors Florence Pugh and David Harbor have let slip a secret about how marvel is keeping its mcu mega-sequel under wraps. The studio is famously known for taking extreme measures to prevent spoilers and details from leaking about its biggest movie releases, and the first of its forthcoming two-party Avengers Epic is no different. It’s more than a year until Avengers: Doomsday Hits theaters on may 1, 2026, but the russo brothers are doing all that they can protect the viewing experience, including withholding details from the movie’s all-star cast.

Pugh and harbor are reprising their Black widow Roles of Yelena Belova and Alexei Shostakov aka Red Guardian in Thunderbolts*, which hits theaters on may 2, before teaming up to face off against Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom in Avengers: Doomsdaybut they are unaware what role their character will play in the first part of the Avengers Double Bill because they have not yet read a script for the sequel. “I haven’t read a script, so I can’t lie anything,” Pugh Told Entertainment Tonight. “Oh, you haven’t read one? Oh my God, it’s so good,” harbor joked before adding, “I’m in the same boat.
