The Director General of the Fund for the Development and Reconstruction of Libya, Belkacem Khalifa Haftar, discussed with the Turkish Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan, during an official visit to Türkiye, today, Thursday, the mechanisms of expanding partnership with Turkish companies and the fund.

The Fund for Development and Reconstruction of Libya said that the meeting took place during which “the prospects for bilateral cooperation in the areas of development and reconstruction were discussed and discussed the mechanisms of expanding partnership with Turkish companies in line with the Fund’s strategy to accelerate the pace of implementation of development projects inside Libya.”

The Fund added on its Facebook page that the Balkasem Haftar meeting with the Turkish Foreign Minister comes as part of the fund’s efforts to activate international partnerships in support of the stage of reconstruction and sustainable development in the country.

Turkish companies have signed several contracts with the Fund for Development and the Reconstruction of Libya to implement many development projects in the cities and regions of eastern Libya, including Benghazi, Derna, Tobruk, Jabal Al -Akhdar and Sirte.
