Dr. Satyajit said that on June 26, on the 75th death anniversary of the leader of the Freedom Fighter Farmer Swami Sahajanand Saraswati, programs are remembered by organizing programs in many parts of the country. On this occasion, a major public meeting will be organized at Shri Sitaram Ashram in Raghavpur, Bihta, along with the Ashes of Walter Houser in the Ganges at the Ganges in the Minar Ghat of Digha. Political, social workers, farmers and intellectuals will participate in it. Hauzar’s PhD thesis is based on the Bihar provincial Kisan Sabha (1929–42). He has translated several compositions from Swami Sahajanand into English, which gave him international recognition as a Boer leader. He said that June 26 will be proposed to Swami Sahajanand. The program is jointly arranged by Shri Sitaram Ashram Trust and Bihar State Kisan Sabha. It is noteworthy that Walter Houser came to India in 1957 as a student of the University of Chicago. Walter Houser’s PhD was completed in 1961, but his book on the thesis was published in March 2019. It was also released in Patna. A few months later, Walter Houser passed away on June 1, 2019. He translated Swami Sahajanand Saraswati’s autobiography ‘Mera Jeevan Sangharsh’ into English, and William R Pinn made it part of the course. Walter’s disciple Wendy Singer investigated the Barhiya Tall movement and worked on the songs of Madhubani’s wives and their struggle. She has come to Bihar for the past 40 years. In 1936 Kisan Sabha was established at the All India level and Swami Sahajanand Saraswati is the first national president. For this reason, Sitaram Ashram is considered the birthplace of the organized Boer movement in India. This ashram is known for the social reform movement.
