Broadway backwardsThe annual benefit concert in celebration of the LGBTQ+ community via songs from the musical theater, will return to Broadway’s new Amsterdam Theater, Current Home of Disney’s AladdinMarch 11 at 8pm.

Produced by Broadway Care, the evening will benefit the non -profit theater and the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community center of New York (the center). Guest artists are later announced.

Creator Robert Bartley will return to direct and choreographing the show, along with music supervisors Ted Arthur and Mary-Mitchell Campbellmusic director Michael Gacettaco -music directors Nicholas Connors and Nick Wilders, Choreographer Skye Mattoxand choreographer and co -director Adam Roberts. Arc‘ Mark Brandon And Jarrett Reiche is doing consultants.

What started as a small, grassroots concert that acted in the center in 2006 has grown into a very expected opportunity. In his 17 issues, Broadway backwards raised more than $ 7 million for Broadway Cares and the center. Last year’s issue raised a record of $ 765,069. The cast of 67 persons appears Corbin bleu, Wayne BradyRobbie Fairchild, Robyn Hrita, Bonnie Milligan, Anthony Rapp, Which snakeand more backed by an orchestra of 13 pieces.

VIP tickets include premium seats and a special reception of the cast. A limited number of ticket packages “Backstage & Beyond” are also available.

Broadway Cares is one of the country’s leading operating-based, non-profit AIDS fundraising and awards organizations. Using the talents, resources and generosity of the US theater community, Broadway Cares has raised more than $ 300 million since 1988 for essential services for people with HIV/AIDS and other critical diseases in the United States.
