Transrail reports 27 PC rises in net profit to £ 126.57 CR in the March quarter

New -delhi, May 24 (PTI) EPC player Transrail Lighting (Transrail) reported a 27 percent increase in the consolidated net profit to £ 126.57 for the March Quarter, powered by higher operating income. There is a net profit of £ 99.72 crore in the 2023-24 period in January, the company said in a statement on Saturday. Transrail increased its operating income by 40 percent to £ 1,946.02 crore of £ 1,392.41 crore in the first quarter FY24. For the entire FY25, the net profit of the company increased by more than 40 percent to £ 327 from £ 233 crore in FY24. Operating income also rose 30 percent to £ 5307.75 crore of 4,076.52 crore in FY24. Transrail Lighting MD and CEO Randeep Narang said: “We have closed FY25 with excellent performance on all important operational parameters, characterized by strong turnover growth, benchmark margins and record -in -flow. Our continued focus on core strength, disciplined execution and operational efficiency made our encouraging results.” The company walks to FY26 with a strong order book and a positive prospect for the sector, which still offers meaningful opportunities, he said. In the fourth quarter of FY25, the company received new orders worth £ 4,965, which took the total order intake for the FY25 to £ 9,680 crore, which came mainly from the transmission and distribution segment. On March 31, the unspeakable order book stood at £ 14,551 crore, which registers a 44 percent growth on a year-to-year basis. Transrail in Mumbai is an EPC player in the transmission and distribution segment (T&D), along with civil, railways, poles and lighting, with a footprint in 59 countries.
