"Now people of the country have to decide ...": AMIT Shah defends PM, CMS, Bill of Removal of Preacher in Long X Post

Due to the Modi government’s commitment to the restoration of moral standards in politics and in the light of public resentment towards the threat, today with the consent of the Lok Sabha Speaker, I submitted the bills on the constitutional amendment, which will prevent people from retiring important constitutional positions such as Prime Minister, Chief Minister or State Minister. The goal is to increase the falling moral standards and maintain integrity in politics. The three bills will implement the following regulations: 1. No one who is arrested and may function in jail as prime minister, chief minister or minister in the Union or State Government. 2. When the Constitution was drafted, its manufacturers could not think that political leaders would refuse to resign on moral grounds in the future, not even after being arrested. In recent years, the country has seen shocking cases where chief ministers or ministers have continued to drive governments out of jail without resigning. 3.. The bills also stipulate that an accused politician should receive bail within 30 days of arrest. If they will not secure bail within 30 days, then the Prime Minister or the Chief Minister will have to remove it on the 31st day; Otherwise, by law, they will stop eligible to function. Once he has been granted bail by the legal process, such leaders can be reinstated in their positions. Now the people of the country have to decide: Is it right for a minister, chief minister or prime minister to run a government from jail?
