Yogandhra 2025: PM Modi welcomed in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh becomes the center of the global yoga movement
Visakhapatnam, June 21 (IANS). Friday was a historic and glorious day for Andhra Pradesh, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Visakhapatnam to participate in the National Festival ‘Yogandhra 2025’ of the International Yoga Day. Andhra Pradesh, chief minister of Chandrababu Naidu, was also present at this special occasion. Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu wrote in a post on social media platform X, “I am proud to welcome the Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Visakhapatnam with N. Chandrababu Naidu. Pawan Kalyan and Ram Mohan Naidu, the prime minister, appreciated his efforts to plan this big event. CM Naidu told Premier Modi that Yogandhra will set up new world records. Prime Minister Modi reached the Navy Air Station Ins Daga from the airport and went from there to the Navy’s guesthouse for night’s rest. He will display the usual Yoga Protocol (CYP) with more than three Lakh people on RK Beach on Saturday morning. He will be accompanied by the Minister of Public Servants for Ayush and the Minister of State Straights for Health and Family Welfare, Prataprao Jadhav and Chief Minister Naidu in a great achievement of India’s global health approach. Extensive arrangements were made in an area of 26 km from RK Beach to Bhogapuram. The main program will be held from 06:30 to 7.45 hours, which will coordinate with more than 1 million places across the country under the ‘Yoga Sangam’ initiative. Chief Minister Naidu welcomed the prime minister on behalf of the people of Andhra Pradesh. He posted on X that all the districts of Andhra Pradesh are ready to participate in the great completion of Yogandhra. He said that Andhra Pradesh is ready for the historical festival. The Chief Minister wrote on X, “More than two Crore people will join more than one lakh places in our state. To attend this big festival, find and take with your nearest place. Together, Yogandhra 2025 makes a proud moment for our state!” Chandrababu Naidu said arrangements were made to do the sum of 3.19 Lakh people at the same time.
