CBI action against corruption, IRS officer arrested to take bribes of Rs 45 Lakh
CBI -Arrestation CBI has arrested additional director -general of director -general of taxpayers, Amit Kumar Singhal, with a bribe of Rs 25 Lakh. Singhal, an IRS officer in 2007, sought a bribe of Rs 45 Lakh to complete the income tax check. The first installment would be given at his home in Mohali where the hard Kotak was arrested. The CBI has arrested additional director -general of additional director -general Amit Kumar Singhal placed on the Directorate General of Taxpayer Service, with a bribe of Rs 25 Lakh. Singhal is an IRS officer in 2007. After the arrest, the CBI Delhi, Mumbai and Punjab in the places associated with Singhal attacked. According to official sources in the CBI, Amit Kumar Singhal demanded a bribe of Rs 45 Lakh from an income taxpayer to abolish the income tax -related investigation. Of which the first installment had to get 25 lakh calls. The CBI gave 25 lakhs in the first installment, after the CBI drafted a plan to join Singhal Red hand. Singhal’s house is in Mohali, where 25 lakh calls had to be given. At his home, a person named Harsh Kotak took 25 lakh calls in place of Singhal. The CBI also arrested hard Singhal with money and with this Singhal was also arrested from his home in Vasat Kunj in Delhi. According to the CBI, Singhal demanded a bribe not only to make a favorable decision in the income tax case. He was also threatened with heavy fines and legal action in the event that he did not bribe. Not only that, Singhal also threatened to implicate the income taxpayer in other cases in the future.
