Puri: Sudarshan Patnaik made a sand image under 'Pahal, the name of a tree mother', 'environmental valuable heritage'

Puri, September 13 (IANS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative ‘One Tree Mother’s Name’ has enthusiasm among people across the country. Inspired by this initiative, the Odisha government announced to start a nationwide tree planting campaign on September 17 under the leadership of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. Under this campaign, 75 lakh trees will be planted in each corner of Odisha, which aims to promote green and reduce the effects of climate change. This initiative inspired not only ordinary citizens, but also famous sand artists and personalities such as the winner of the Padma Shri Award, Sudarshan Patnaik. Sudarshan Patnaik has created an impressive sand image to promote this campaign, showing the importance of plantation.
