Greater NEIDA: Police's great success, Rs 1.85 Lakh back to a victim of cyber fraud
Greater Noida, September 13 (IANS). The Gautam Buddha Nagar police have achieved great success towards combating cybercrime and relief to the victims. A person who was a victim of cyber fraud due to the readiness and effective actions of the Bisarkh Cyber police station helped Desk, returned his missing Rs 1,85,050. According to the information, a complaint was received by the NCRB portal at the Bisarkh police station. The complainant said he was cheated by Rs 1,85,050 by online. With the case that took the case seriously, Bisarkh Cyber helped Desk launched a quick investigation and contacted the agencies involved. The policy team detected the amount with the help of technical information and returned to the victim’s account, which kept the fraudulent amount safe. Although this action brought the victim to great relief, this readiness of the police also proved that the administration is fully active in fighting cyber crimes. After recovering his money, the victim thanked Gautam Budh Nagar police, saying that such rapid action strengthened the confidence of ordinary citizens in the police. According to the instructions of police commissioner Gautam Budh Nagar, Laxmi Singh, work is done at various levels to stop cyber crimes in the district. Cyber security awareness programs are also arranged by police from time to time, in which citizens are told how to avoid online fraud. Police officers say that work as well as legal levels are being done to deal with increasing cyber crimes.
