NYT Connections #821: Tips and answers for September 9 Puzzle
After being rolled out on the New York Times for the first time in June 2023, Connections emerged as a very popular category-fitting puzzle. The purpose of this unique game is to explore a ‘general thread’ between words. A player is provided with 16 words, and the purpose is to categorize it into four groups of four. The categories of these groups can be based on different topics. While playing this game, a participant may face a difficult situation in which some words can fit in more than one particular group. In a scenario like this, the player must be careful and think deeply before making any move, as he/ she may only make four wrong guesses. You can move the board to get the words in a new order. You also have different color codes that indicate the level of difficulty. After successfully identifying one group, the category is announced along with the degree of difficulty. The degree of difficulty is coded to make the game more interesting.
