A total of 30 heads of families (HHs) will be resettled from five different points. “There are 30 family heads identified, and we have prepared quick steps to resettle some of the affected residents. We have coordinated with the Serang Regency government, and the community in that place is ready,” he said. Ratio explained that once the area is declared safe, resettled residents can return to their respective residences. “So, when it’s safe, after friends from Bapeten declare the location safe, people can return. However, we don’t know the condition of the underground yet. Currently, we’ve only detected the top layer,” said Ratio. Meanwhile, the head of the Serang Regency Social Service, Yadi Priyadi Rochdian, said that some time ago there were obstacles so that the resettlement process could not be carried out. However, he confirmed that the move will take place in the near future. “Today the move was indeed not carried out, because yesterday there were still several things that needed to be coordinated. It was said earlier that we also need to determine exactly who needs to be moved,” said Yadi. “We are dealing with funding issues with TT funds. Hopefully it can be implemented this week as it is urgent,” he added. (aik/fas)
