Imphal, September 28 (IANS) Security forces arrested four militants of two banned organizations in various campaigns in different districts on Sunday and received a few weapons and a large stock of ammunition from them. A police officer said three of the four militants are a member of the Kanglippak Communist Party of the Communist Party (KCP) and that one is a member of the Kangalippack People’s Revolutionary Party (Prepak). Three militants were arrested from the Imhal Eastern District and one of the Imhal West district. The KCP militants have been identified as Angom Achou Singh, dazzagbam Apollo Metei, Mohammad Alam Khan and Prepak militants have been identified as Ningthohozam Vidyasagar Singh alias Nanao alias Yethoiba (35). A double barrel gun, some mobile devices and Aadhaar cards were recovered from the four militants arrested. Security forces also received some weapons and a large stock of ammunition from the Patto area in the Imhal West district. The recycled weapons contain four single -barrel guns, a modified sniper gun and 9 mm pistol.
