40 -Year -Old Dinesh Karthik will now play in this foreign league, RCB -player becomes teammate

Former Indian batsman Dinesh Karthik joined the International League T20 (LT20) and will represent the Sharjah Warriors team in the fourth season of the tournament. Karthik will replace Sri Lankan wicketkeeper batsman Kusal Mendis in this team, who has former South African cricketer JP Duminy. This is the second foreign T20 league of Karthik. He previously played for the SA20 team, Parl Royals in South Africa. Karthik expressed his happiness for joining the team. Karthik said: “I am very excited to join the Sharjah Warriors team for the ILT20 tournament. I know it’s a young team who wants to do something special. I’m glad to come here. Sharjah is like a dream to be part of a dream.” Karthik’s career earlier scored Karthik 97 runs in six innings for Parl Royals. Karthik is also the batting coach of IPL 2025 champion Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). In RCB, Karthik has worked closely with Australian Tim David, one of the foreign players of Sharjah Warriors. Warriors head coach Duminy said: “Dinesh Karthik is one of the most experienced players and has mastered T20 cricket. I am very excited to include him in his team for the upcoming ILL20 season.” Dinesh Karthik scored 7437 runs in 412 T20 matches. He scored 35 half -centers at a strike rate of 136.66. He scored 686 runs in 60 T20 international matches for India at a strike rate of 142.61. Karthik was an important part of the Indian team and now other franchisees are ready to shine in the leagues.
