41 ‘High -risk’ prisoners of Jakarta moved to Nusa Kambangan

Cilacap -A total of 41 prisoners in the high -risk category from the Jakarta area were transferred to the Super Maximum Security Prison in Nusa Kambangan, Central -java. The majority of them are drug convicts. The transfer was executed on Monday (13/10) early in the morning. The prisoners arrived on Nusa Kambangan Island at about 05.30 and immediately distributed to five different prisons. “A total of 41 residents of higher risks in the Jakarta area arrived in Nusa Kambangan this morning, about 05.30. They were placed in five prisons,” Central Java regional head Mardi Santoso said in a press release, reported by Detikjateng, Monday (13/10/2025). Browse to continue with the content, Mardi explained the details, namely that 15 people were placed in Karanganyar Super Maximum Security Prison, 5 people in Pasir Putih Super Maximum Security Prison, 8 people in the maximum prison of possession, 12 people in Ngaseman prison and 1 person in Permisan Prison. “According to the soup, they were received, administratively and physically checked and fully declared,” he added. Furthermore, Mardi explained that the prisoners would undergo guidance and security at a custom level based on the results of individual assessments. “These are mostly drug convicts.
